Joshua Soto is an Associate Attorney for the Firm. Mr. Soto advises clients on all aspects of civil and corporate matters in both litigated and non-litigated matters. Mr. Soto attended St. Mary’s University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration on Entrepreneurial Studies. Mr. Soto obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas where he excelled in Trial Advocacy receiving honors for best speaker. Mr. Soto provides counsel to area businesses and has been involved in successfully implementing strategies related to both discovery disputes and trial issues in numerous Texas court jurisdictions.
Mr. Soto is a member of the American Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association.
Mr. Soto is fluent in Spanish. He is an outstanding civic and church leader. He provides mentorship and leadership outreach to youth, having served the community of Generations Family Church with distinction for well over a decade. He is the Founder of the Ignite Organization, a post-secondary readiness education program, and he serves as the Director of the Youth Program and the Director of Music and Worship Programs. He is also an avid Spurs fan.
Nancy Cano is the Legal Office Manager and Consular Attaché for the Firm. Ms. Cano’s 20 years of extensive paralegal experience includes a broad range of civil, corporate and public law matters in both litigated and non-litigated matters. Ms. Cano has a breadth of experience leading document and information auditory investigations. She had the primary duty to develop and implement discovery during her several years of service with a federal law enforcement agency post 911.
Ms. Cano has significant experience serving the City of San Antonio during 2 mayoral administrations where she worked extensively managing the ethics reporting of “Foundation for the Future 2007”, the largest political action committee ever formed in support of the largest bond in the history of San Antonio – a bond in excess of $500 million.
Ms. Cano is proficient in Spanish and some German and French. She obtained her BBA Management from UTSA and is a certified Texas Master Naturalist Wildlife Conservationist who enjoys an outdoor life with her family.
